Light commercial HVAC installation starts with the building
Every light commercial HVAC project is different, so we start with the basics: how the building is used, what equipment is involved and whether you're working from issued drawings or an early concept. Send the location, bid date and schedule constraints and we'll review the request in context.
As light commercial HVAC contractors, we get requests involving rooftop units, split systems, heat pumps, ductwork and ventilation equipment. On every project, the proposal spells out exactly what Noble Air will supply and install.

Light commercial HVAC replacement needs more than new equipment
01 · Replacement projects
Existing connections, duct transitions, access and removal all shape a replacement. Swapping out a rooftop unit? Flag roof access, crane or lifting needs and who handles related work early.
02 · Renovations and new construction
On renovations and new builds, drawings and specs set the installation requirements and how we coordinate with other trades. If the documents are still in progress, tell us where they stand.
Know what's included before work begins
A clear proposal makes inclusions and exclusions easy to see. Equipment supply, controls, electrical, plumbing, insulation, crane work, permits, balancing and building repairs are each listed as included or excluded.
That way you're comparing bids on the same scope, and nobody is surprised halfway through the job. Schedule and access assumptions go in writing too.
Need ductwork installation or ongoing maintenance?
For sheet metal work on its own, head to our commercial ductwork page. For recurring service on an existing building, see commercial HVAC maintenance.

Commercial HVAC work comes in many shapes. These are some of the project types we're asked to review.
- 01
Rooftop unit replacement
Swapping an aging rooftop unit means more than setting new equipment. Curb adapters, connections, crane access and roof work all need to be planned and assigned.
- 02
Split systems and heat pumps
Offices, retail spaces and smaller buildings often use split systems or heat pumps. The layout depends on the space, the existing equipment and how the building is used.
- 03
Renovations and fit-outs
When a space changes use, the HVAC usually has to change too. We review the drawings to see what can stay, what has to move and what's new.
- 04
Ventilation and ductwork
Many projects include ventilation equipment or duct changes. If yours does, we can price it alongside the equipment or as its own line in the proposal.
Light commercial HVAC project questions
Can I send drawings for a bid review?
Yes. Send your contact information, project location, job details and bid date, plus a link to the drawings if you have one.
Do you provide equipment and installation?
It depends on the project. Tell us whether you need equipment supplied and installed, or installation only using equipment provided by others.
Can work be scheduled around building operations?
Tell us about occupancy, access and shutdown limits during the first review. Off-hours work can be discussed and is agreed project by project.
Does requesting a bid reserve the schedule?
No. The schedule is confirmed once the proposal is accepted.
