Commercial Ductwork and Sheet Metal Installation

Get the ductwork scope clear before the work starts. Noble Air supports commercial projects with sheet-metal and ductwork installation based on the agreed drawings.
Request a Ductwork Bid Review

Commercial ductwork installation, demolition and connections

Whether your project calls for new ductwork, changes to an existing system or demo and replacement, we start from the current mechanical drawings and specs. That's what we review duct routes, connections and air distribution against.

If the job includes hanging or connecting fans, ventilation units, fan coils, registers, grilles or diffusers, list them and who's supplying them. Supplying equipment and installing it are separate line items, and the proposal keeps them separate.

Sheet metal materials and site access

01 · Materials

Material requirements come from the project documents. Call out any special requirements for duct material, insulation, lining, pressure class or access doors so we can review them before pricing.

02 · Site conditions

Site conditions change the job. Let us know if the work is above an existing ceiling, in an occupied space or tied to a phased schedule, for projects in Hudson and nearby towns.

A ductwork bid you can check against the drawings

Our proposal names the drawing revision we priced, what demolition is included and where Noble Air's work starts and stops.

Cutting, patching, coring, flashing, insulation, equipment supply and testing and balancing are listed as included or excluded, never assumed. Specialty fabrication or materials get reviewed before we commit to them.

Discuss My Ductwork Project

Working in existing and occupied buildings

A lot of commercial ductwork goes into buildings that are already in use. Planning for that early keeps the job moving.

  1. 01

    Above existing ceilings

Work above a finished ceiling means removing and protecting tiles, lights and other trades' work. Tell us what's there so the bid reflects real access.

  2. 02

    Occupied spaces

If people are working nearby, we plan around noise, access routes and protecting the space. Let us know about any restrictions before we price the job.

  3. 03

    Phased schedules

Many renovations happen in phases. Share the sequence so ductwork, demolition and connections line up with the rest of the project.

  4. 04

    Coordinating with other trades

Ductwork shares space with sprinklers, electrical and plumbing. Clear drawings and an early conversation with the GC help avoid conflicts in the field.

Commercial ductwork bid questions

What should I send for pricing?

+

The project location, current mechanical drawings, specs, the work requested and bid date. Note any exclusions or work assigned to other trades.

Can the job include demolition?

+

Yes. Include the demo requirements and affected areas so we can price them as their own line.

Do you supply all equipment and air devices?

+

It depends on the project. Tell us which equipment and air devices are provided by others and what you want us to handle.

Can you price specialty materials or off-hours work?

+

Send us the requirement. Material capability, scheduling and cost have to be confirmed before they go into the agreement.
