Tell us what your air conditioner is doing
The more you can tell us, the better we can prepare for your AC repair. Is it running but not cooling? Turning on and off every few minutes? Making a new noise? Leaving the upstairs much warmer than the rest of the house?
Let us know when it started and whether anyone has worked on the system recently. A description helps us prepare, but the real diagnosis happens at your home.

AC problems aren't always in the outdoor unit
01 · The whole system
An air conditioner that won't cool can have a problem in the indoor equipment, the thermostat, the ductwork or the condensate drain, not just the condenser outside. We look at the whole system behind the symptom.
02 · Repeat problems
Had the same problem fixed before? Tell us. The model number and history of the issue help us figure out what to check first.
Repair or replace your air conditioner?
If a repair is the right call, we'll explain the work and the condition of the equipment. If replacement is worth considering, we'll help you compare the two honestly.
Our AC installation page covers replacement planning. The free estimate applies to new installations; repair and diagnostic visits are a separate service, so ask about charges and availability when you book.
Before you request AC service
Have your town, contact details and a short description ready. Model numbers or past service records help if they're handy, but you don't need them, and you don't need to have picked a new system to ask for help.
Tell Us About My Cooling ProblemCommon AC problems and what to note before you call
You don't need to know what's wrong. A few notes on what you're seeing help us prepare for the visit.
- 01
Running, but not cooling
Note whether the outdoor unit's fan is spinning and whether the air from the vents feels cool, warm or just weak. Airflow, refrigerant and electrical problems can all look like this.
- 02
Turning on and off
If the AC starts and stops every few minutes, write down roughly how often. Short cycling can come from the thermostat, the equipment or a system that's the wrong size.
- 03
Water, ice or leaks
Water around the indoor unit or ice on the refrigerant lines is worth mentioning when you call. Both usually point to a problem that should be checked.
- 04
New noises or smells
Buzzing, rattling, squealing or a burning smell that wasn't there before are all useful details. Tell us when it started and whether it happens every time the system runs.
AC repair questions
Can you work on equipment installed by another contractor?
Send us the equipment details and we'll confirm whether we can service it.
Do you offer same-day or emergency service?
Call or send a request and we'll tell you our current availability. Sending the form doesn't confirm an appointment or response time.
Should I replace the system right away?
Not before it's been looked at. The decision should come after we know what's wrong and what shape the system is in.
